Nutrition Tips for Travel Days!
Whether you are a dancer or non dancer, if you have a travel day coming up, take these 3 tips into account to help keep yourself properly fueled and feeling your best!
bring your own water bottle and fill up at a fill station or in a lounge, staying hydrated is crucial and can fall through on travel days.
Pack snacks in individual servings- options like protein bars, self made trail mixes, and other non perishable items. Depending on your travel time, it’s worth it to bring (if possible) or purchase a healthy wrap or sandwich option, or consume a healthy, balanced meal at a lounge or airport restaurant.
Keep to a 3-5 hour (unless determined differently for you) eating schedule despite travel day and timing change to allow for some consistency and healthy balance to allow you to feel your best the following day post travel!
