Happy National Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day!

Happy National Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) day to all my fellow RDNs!!I am so grateful for my journey to becoming an RDN (which finished almost 5 years ago 😮) to starting my private practice (4 years ago) and for all the experiences I’ve had working in private practice. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to help so many individuals reach and maintain their health goals, work through their medical diagnoses, and develop a healthy relationship with food! I also love that I have the opportunity to work with dancers and other athletes, parents, and other groups with how to properly fuel the body for the activities they do, how to love the body you are given, and how to create a great relationship with food and the body. In addition I am grateful for the opportunity to be a preceptor to dietetic interns and help them become the best RDNs they can be!This has been a crazy year of adaptation through the pandemic and I am so grateful for my clients and interns for their flexibility to adapt to telehealth and virtual work with me and still make their health a priority through the challenges of this past year. Thank you to all the other RDNs out there also helping individuals reach their goals using evidence based methods and helping their clients develop healthy relationships with food while reaching their goals!

Check out the picture below for info on the difference between RDNs/RDs and other nutrition professionals.

Wishing you all a fantastic day!
