National Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Day-Choose your Nutrition Professional Wisely!

Happy National REGISTERED DIETITIAN DAY everyone! As a Registered Dietitian /Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I tend to hear a lot of confusion as to how myself or other people with my background differ from a nutritionist. The first clarification I would like to make is that a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) are the same thing- the latter term was developed to help people understand what a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is! On the other hand, any other type of nutritionist/nutrition professional does not have the same credentials or educational background as a RDN. In order to clearly delineate and clarify this information, today we want to share our new breakdown sheet that discusses the differences between a #registereddietitiannutritionist and a #nutritionist in order to help you make the decision as to who would be the best person to work with to meet your #health and #nutrition goals and needs!Download the pdf of this comparison using the following- Dieititian vs nutritionist Final. To demonstrate your appreciation for the RDNs out there! Please share with us your success stories about working with or being an RDN!Also, keep an eye out for the first blog post in our National Nutrition Month 3 part series starting tomorrow- "Going Further with Food- Tips to Store Your Food to Minimize Waste!"Wishing you a week filled with health and wellness,-Ricci-Lee Hotz, MS, RDNDenver’s Dancing DietitianA Taste of Health, LLC“Improving Quality of life one bite at a time”
