Sleep, healthy nutrition, andexercise are the most important things when it comes to leading a healthy life.We shouldn't take any of them for granted, but sometimes it looks like we do sosince we live in a modern era where everything is happening fast.

According to a study from 2018, theright amount of sleep for an average person is between seven and nine hoursevery night. However, research shows that only in the US, 35% of adults getless than seven hours of sleep every night.

Another amazing fact is that 1.2billion people in the world suffer from a variety of sleep issues that arerelated either to their sleep deprivation or other health problems. Only in theUS between 50 and 70 million people suffer from a chronic sleep disorder.

We can't stress enough how essentialit is to have a proper amount of sleep. Having less than the recommendedsleeping hours can lead to obesity, diabetes, inflammation, and evencardiovascular disease, among other things.

The team of experts has shown that taking a nap isactually a very good thing to do. According to what you want to achieve withthe nap, you should choose how long it should last.

Ifyou're hungry, you should take a snack no later than 45 minutes before going tobed. A good combination for your “midnight snack“ can be a combination of carbohydrates,calcium or protein, and tryptophan.

Asleep-deprived body produces more stress hormone called Cortisol, which isn'tgood for weight loss. However, while you're sleeping, your body produces thegrowth hormone that helps burn fat as well as repair and build muscles, so youcan increase your strength and then lose weight.
